Wildest Dreams: The Impact of Open Diplomacy on Strengthening North American Integration

Breakout Session

Hosted by Babson College + Meridian International Center

In today's globalized world, open diplomacy plays a crucial role in fostering understanding and collaboration among North American countries. Known as the "third phase of diplomacy," open diplomacy moves towards a decentralized approach where governments, while essential, cannot address global challenges alone. This panel explored how entrepreneurship ecosystems and corporate diplomacy utilize open diplomacy to unite people through initiatives and public-private partnerships, providing both immediate and lasting solutions to complex challenges across various sectors. Panelists discussed specific initiatives that reshape cultural perceptions, break down barriers, and build new connections to tackle shared challenges through emerging North American networks.
