Smooth Operator: Streamlining North American Supply Chains
Simultaneous Panel
In the wake of the U.S.-China geopolitical rivalry, the global Covid-19 pandemic, and the recent Russian invasion of Ukraine, supply chain security has emerged as a critical factor for the North American economy. Amidst this rapidly evolving landscape, both the United States, Canada, and Mexico are actively pursuing agendas to promote investment and enhance supply chain resilience in key sectors.
The main objective is to explore how the region can deepen collaboration and advance shared commercial interests to foster secure and resilient supply chains that promote economic growth, stability, and increased competitiveness in the global market. Additionally, The Milken Institute will present the findings from its Global Opportunity Index (GOI) with Mexican state-by-state data to provide an overview of Mexico’s competitiveness as a strategic trade partner for the United States.
